This picture really shows how I feel about Christopher Colombus supposedly "discovering" America! I feel that he basically just found something that people already knew existed, he was just the first one to actually spread the word and get even more people to know about this land he knew of. I will say that he did get the word out, but to say that he was the first one to discover it would be a big overstatement. Of course this is my opinion, but it makes a lot of sense if you really think about it.
